Last Thursday and Friday, Lasso CEO Dave Clements and VP of Sales Dave Betcher attended Accelerate 2013: The Jeff Shore Sales & Marketing Summit, held at the historic Driskill Hotel in Austin, TX. Over 150 new home industry CEOs, owners and executives from across the country were on hand to learn innovative sales techniques and best practices from sales expert, author and executive coach Jeff Shore and his team.

On Thursday, attendees participated in a case study bus tour of new home communities in Austin with stops including Ashton Woods HomesMueller Austin and the Sweetwater community. The entire group then enjoyed a rooftop dinner and concert sponsored by Wells Fargo, along with great socializing at Maggie Mae’s.

The Summit on Friday featured insight from new home industry leaders Tim Costello, Chairman and CEO of Builders Digital Experience; Eric Snider, Chief Research Officer for Lifestory Research; and Nanette Overly, VP of Sales & Marketing for Epcon Communities. Shore Consulting Certified Trainers Amy O’Connor and Ryan Taft also delivered impactful management and coaching strategies during the sales breakout sessions.
