Using Lasso, our clients can capture new home buyer leads from multiple sources – whether it’s using an iPad or kiosk at your Sales Center, your website, online directories, or . . . if you wish, you can also create a registration page directly on your Facebook page.
A registration page can be created for a Facebook page using an iframe. Facebook allows you to create a page, just like you’d create an HTML page on your website.
Here’s a simplified version of what you need to do. Speak to your web developer to learn more and we’d be happy to work with them to make it happen!
- Web developer creates a web form as a web page on your site.
- This form is contained within an iframe and is coded for Lasso like all other registration pages
- Your Facebook Administrator will need to download an app (we’ve used Static HTML) – you can use it to create a tab and you can insert the iframe on that tab.
Here’s an example from Polygon Homes’ Facebook Page – An interested new home buyer who visits a Fan page is given the option to register. When they click on the register here tab, they are directed to the Facebook registration page. A “thank you” page may appear after submission and an auto-reply email can be sent to the interested buyer.
Let us know if you need help setting this up! There are varying opinions of this – some would prefer to drive prospective buyers to the website to learn more about a community and to register their interest; others see value in keeping it simple for the prospect to register initially on Facebook and then provide good follow-up afterward and drive them to the website. Tell us what you think.
